Veterinary Examinations

As a veterinary clinic, we have a responsibility to look after the health and well-being of our patients, which is why we recommend all our clients to schedule a routine checkup with their veterinarian at least once a year. This lets us keep a close eye on your pet and detect potential problems before they get worse.

What does a routine veterinary examination involve?

Annual visits allow our veterinarians to do a complete examination of your pet to rule out any abnormalities. During the examination, your veterinarian will check your cat or dog from head to tail and ask you a few questions about them, such as what they eat and how much exercise they get. This is also the ideal time to make sure your pet’s vaccinations are up to date. Depending on the findings from their examination, your veterinarian may also make some recommendations or suggest more extensive testing.
